Dean, College of Pharmacy, Riyadh (COP-R), King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), reporting directly to the Vice President, Educational Affairs, KSAU-HS, effective immediately for a two-year term.
In this capacity, Dr. Albekairy will remain responsible for the academic and administrative management and development of this College.
Dr. Albekairy is a graduate (1985-1991) and postgraduate (1993-1996) of King Saud University, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1991 and Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy in 1996. He pursued his postgraduate education at Purdue University, Indiana, USA (1998-2000) and obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy in 2000. He completed his Clinical Pharmacy Fellowship in Pharmacogenomic Transplant and Immunology (2000-2002) at University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA. He joined KAMC-R as a Pharmacist (1991-1993) and since that time has heldadministrative and clinical appointment as Clinical Pharmacist (1996-1998), Clinical Pharmacist Consultant (2003-present) and Assistant Director, Clinical Pharmacy (2008-2016). He has served as chairman and member to several local and international committees.
